Pink Moon! What now?
Have you heard the term Pink Moon recently? Confused what it might be??! Will the moon be turning pink for the night? If it did, wouldn't it be so cool?
Every Full Moon has a different name depending on the month it falls in, and April's full moon is traditionally called the Pink Moon in the Northern Hemisphere. No, it's not actually pink but since the full moon falls during the time of year when the moss pink wildflower blooms it's named so.
This Full Moon on 17th April 2022 is here to encourage you & help you achieve harmony and balance through accountability, an honest conversation, and reflection.
Since the we are heading towards Spring in the Northern Hemisphere, this Full Moon is also the perfect time to set your resolutions! If you slipped on the resolutions you set for yourself on January 1st, NOW is the time to get back on them! Now [The pink moon] is also a great time to fully release negative thoughts or relationships that do not have space in our ‘new life’ that is starting to unfold.
Even thought it may feel like too much's happening, you can harmonize the full moon energy by keeping these crystals with/on you during this Pink Full Moon -
-
Rhodonite -
Rhodonite is known for it's ability to nurture and heal. The crysal brings in a sense of self-worth and well being which encourages you to let go of anything or anyone holding you back; exactly what this full moon also entails. It'll open up the opportunities for you to attract unconditional love, inner growth & self confidence; whatever intentions you set for youself this lunar cycle.

There's also Moon Crystals -
Moonstone, Selenite, and Labradorite are the three mightiest Moon crystals. It's great to have them around not just during THIS full moon but during ALL Full Moon.
Here are 6 rituals for you to try to keep you grounded and help you make the best of the Pink Moon -

Hold a full moon circle
Got some woo-woo friends who are into full moon & spirituality just like you? Gather them up & do your full moon activities together! Talk about your intentions, listen to each other and let go of anything holding you back! What better way to celebrate & end the ceremony than a little dance party together?
-
Charge your crystals
Every full moon is a great time to charge up your crysals. Put them in a tray or bowl (make sure they are not touching each other) & place them outside. Read more about crystals & charging them here.
-
Make Moon water
Moon water has so many uses, and it couldn't be easier to make. All you have to do is fill a clean jar or container with fresh water and leave it in the moonlight overnight (even inside on a windowsill would do), with an intention in mind for how you'd like to use it.
-
Meditate
Full Moon is a powerful time for meditation. [I'm sure you know that by now ;)] You can either JUST do this or combine it with the other rituals, it's all your choice!
Steps -
-
Sit comfortably in a space where the moonlight is visible.
-
Close your eyes and feel the moon's beams fill the room and your body.
-
Focus on your breath and the intention you've set.
-
Imagine the moonlight enveloping and purifying your body, mind, and spirit.
-
Slowly bring your attention back to the room and open your eyes.
Repeat as many times as you'd like in the three to five hours before or after the full moon.
-
Release what's no longer serving you
Holding onto negative feelings? Judgement? Resentment? Hatred? It's time to release them all. Kick off the fresh season with a clean slate. It's time to let go of the old baggage.
One of my favorite ways to do so is by writing down whatever I want to release on a piece of paper & burning it under the light of full moon (safely!!!). As you do so, imagine all the feelings going away from your body into the Universe.
-
Full Moon Bath
Last but not the least a full moon bath to finish off your night! Afterall who doesn't love a good & relaxing bath?
Bonus points if you add Moon Water or seasonal treats like lavander essential oil or flowers to the tub.

Every full moon is an opportunity for YOU to check in with yourself, let go of what's NOT serving you and set intentions for what you want to attract in the lunar cycle.
