To Snack Or Not To Snack?

One of the questions I get asked often is about snacks.  What to eat?  When to eat them?  Are they helpful or stall your progress?  Snacks are one of the keys to my daily success. Having timed snacks helps keep your blood sugar stabilized, which helps with cravings and also helps keep you feeling full.

But, all snacks are NOT created equal.  A snack is just that, a snack.  I try to keep them to about 100 calories and I have three per day.  One around 10 a.m., one around 3 p.m. and one before bed.

Many people find it difficult to find a healthy  snack to eat that actually tastes good and fills them up without going over their macros and calories for the day. If weight loss is your goal, limit fruit and carbs to earlier in the day (none in the evening.)

I have put together a list of 50 quick and easy snack ideas for you to add into your meal plan. Time these around your three main meals for the day, where you are consuming something every 2-½ to 3 hours.

I tend to find I eat the same snacks over and over but this list should give you plenty of variety.  Give them a try and let me know what you think! Download your list here!
