Sassy Hot Chocolate

Winter Time is for cozy cold weather, coats, sparkly snowflakes, building snowmen & sipping hot chocolate by the fireplace.

Treat yo'self this weekend with some healthy sassy Hot Chocolate recipe.


  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk

  • 4 tsp. unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 2 tsp. coconut sugar

  • 4 fl. oz. peppermint schnapps Mint leaves &

  • cinnamon sticks (for garnish)


  1. Place almond milk, cocoa powder, and sugar in a small saucepan.

  2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring frequently.

  3. Reduce heat to medium-low; cook, stirring frequently, for 1 to 2 minutes.

  4. Remove from heat.

  5. Add peppermint schnapps; mix well.

  6. Strain evenly into two mugs. Garnish with mint leaves & cinnamon sticks
